Are doctors and nurses in Holland walking on wooden shoes too? Isn't it very loud in the hospital?.
Greet's is answering this question:
"Nowadays people aren't wearing wooden shoes anymore. We use them only as decoration, we put flowers and plants in them. But when I was a little girl almost everyone in my village was waIking on wooden shoes. They clappered very nicely and you could hear someone coming when he or she was still far away. Bye from Greet in Holland."

Why are the children in Africa still wearing leather legbraces - synthetic ones are much cooler when it is hot wheather. I know, because I have a synthetic one.

Mr. Fons in Amsterdam - Greet's bracemaker, is answering this question:
"In some area's of Africa children have synthetic legbraces too. But not everywhere, because leather braces are handmade - they can be made of the materials in the region. For synthetic legbraces one needs a special oven & electricity, that's sometimes difficult to organise. A very good question, I hope I have given the right answer. Bye from mister Fons in Amsterdam."
