Two-day
conference on Professional eLearning Development
Central Theme:
Durable eLearning for
Students with Physical Challenges & Medical Needs
April 2007
Dear Sir, Madam
Autumn 2008 - the
Macadam Web Studio will organize a
conference in Diemen, The Netherlands, on eLearning for children and youngsters
with severe handicaps and longterm illnesses. The participants will be some 50
teachers and attendants from different European and non-European countries.
Durable eLearning
is eLearning experience on the basis of web-based programs, providing elearning
experiences on which students may also draw later in their lives. The purpose
of the conference is to offer a discussion platform for experiences and
perspectives.
Since most
hospital schools and facilities for special education greatly depend on
donations, the organizing committee is seeking to present a fully subsidized
conference, so as to cover all conference costs incurred by the participants.
The organizing
committee would be very happy if your own organization could support this
initiative with a financial contribution. For your information I include a
short paper on the history and aims of Macadam, as well as the conference
programme and a detailed estimate of the costs involved.
I hope you will give our request your positive attention.
On behalf of the organizing committee and all participants,
yours faithfully
Prof.dr. Marijke Spies
