 Mayor Amy Koopmanschap of Diemen will tell why the Council of Europe values the Macadam Web Studio activities so much and she will present the Special Mentions Ceritificate which the council awarded Macadam Web Studio for European Local Democracy Week.

Purpose of the conference is to investigate why it is important students who lead a more sheltered life also participate socially. Furthermore the role of teachers in web education is looked into. In several lectures new developments in web education are described including the role of the Macadam Web Studio. Participants of the conference are teachers, staff members and students representatives. Some of them will participate by web connection. Participants originate not only from Holland but also from Poland, Roumania, Israël, Ghana, Greece, France, Bulgaria and Norway.

If you are staying in a hospital, are homebound or bound to another place, than Macadam is meant for you. When you go to school, but regularly has to leave, for treatment or exercise than you too are very welcome in Macadam. We call ourselves Macadamians.

 

Als je in het ziekenhuis ligt, aan huis of aan een andere plaats gebonden bent, dan is Macadam voor jou bedoeld. Ook als je naar school gaat, maar er voor een behandeling of oefeningen geregeld tussen uit moet, kun je in Macadam terecht. We noemen onszelf Macadammers.

 

Wenn du im Krankenhaus oder Klinik bist, am Haus oder an einem anderen Platz gebunden bist, dann ist Macadam eine Welt gemacht für dich. Auch wenn du zur Schule gehst, aber regelmäszig zur Behandlung oder Uebungen gehen sollst, bist du herzlich Willkommen in Macadam. Wir nennen uns Macadamer.
